Jo Ann has been a member at Sunny Lane Family Church for 30 years where she sponsors the programs for Senior Saints, support meals, ladies events and the church bowling league. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 37 years retiring in 1999. Wendell volunteered at Tinker Federal Credit Union for over 18 years, serving on the Board of Directors and Credit Committee.
